One of my favorite Youtubers (ElleFlorence) recently did a video where she talked about her favorite fall candles, which of course made me think about my own favorites of the season.
It seems normal to start with Target. One of my recent purchases is the Collection Grey Flannel. Packaging is on point and the scent is lovely. It wasn’t the most room filling fragrance, but perfectly adequate.
Bath and Body Works fall candles are generally beloved and with good reason. I think they do food scented candles better than almost anyone else. My favorite is Cider Lane and Sweet Cinnamon. However, Z. absolutely loves Bourbon Maple and the Caramel Pumpkin Swirl.
I have a very mixed relationship with Yankee Candles. They so often are overpriced and the scent can be less than potent. However, I randomly picked this one up on a whim and I love the scent. It doesn’t burn particularly even, it it has a wonderful scent. A truly pumpkin scent instead of the spices or vanilla.
I have a ridiculous love for Anthropologie. They are the overpriced luxury store I indulge in occasionally. There are two favorites of mine. The Capri Blue Pumpkin (which I am indulging in another of as a celebration of my new furniture) and the Boulangerie Pumpkin Souffle. The former is not sweet, while the other is.
what are your favorite scents?
