You wake up in the morning and glance over to the window you left cracked over during the night. The crisp, fall breeze floats in and you stretch out, getting ready to prepare for a beautiful, fall morning.
Why not start off with a breakfast that encompasses the flavor of fall.
Start off with a pumpkin spice coffee. My favorite is my homemade pumpkin creamer.
If you want to drink your coffee black, another idea is to add a teaspoon of cinnamon into your grounds before making your morning brew.
My favorite healthy breakfast is this apricot butternut squash greek yogurt from Kroger. So. Freaking. Good.
If you are looking for something amazingly delicious, but rather less healthy, try making a cinnamon swirl loaf of bread. Make a loaf on a leisurely Sunday and then toast two slices each day and cover with syrup for the most delicious french toast.
I also love this recipe for pumpkin granola muffins.
But what if you woke up this bright, September morning and it is still really hot? In fact, very not Fall like at all, but you are already pulling the pumpkins out of the attic.
That is where my Chai chia seed pudding comes in. It is a cool and refreshing, but still has the taste of fall. Bonus, it is super easy and quick to put together.
Three ingrediants: chia seed, chai concentrate, and almond milk.
Add 1/4 cup Chia seeds with 1/2 cup almond milk.
Add 1/4 cup Chai concentrate. I am in love with this brand, which I get at Costco.
Mix it all together and put it in the fridge overnight. Doesn’t look delicious now, but it will tomorrow!
The next morning, have half the serving with some fresh fruit mixed in. I love blueberries.
