If you follow me on instagram, you would have seen me post this picture:

It was my first Influenster box AND my first free beauty products to review. It made me feel like a real blogger, even though it had nothing to do with the blog. For those of you who don’t know about Influenster, it is a review website that will also send out products for testing. You can check it out here. It’s been really fun and hey, free products are free products. Despite getting the stuff for free, please know all thoughts are my own.

I was sent the Maybelline SuperStay 24 lip color in Keep Up the Flame (lovely!) and Constant Toast (not!). Actually, let’s just take a moment to talk about what a terrible name Constant Toast is. The lip color was as exciting as name implied.

Now on to review time. I have very mixed feelings about this product. Constant Toast was terrible. Sheer, boring, and made me feel like I covered my lips with concealer. I tossed it right after trying it.

However, Keep Up the Flame was a lovely fall, redish color. While I did not get 24 hours of wear from this product, I got about 7, which was good. Here is how I looked after wearing it from 7 am to 4 pm:

This product requires a light hand. Be very careful in application because it is a beast to make any corrections. I also recommend using a lip exfoliate before applying. This is my fave:

The major downside was that when it started fading, it was quick and super blotchy. It looked awful.

My overall impressions? I will probably occasionally wear it, but it is not a favorite. I would not go out of my way to buy this product.
