My life has undergone a number of changes in the past few years, the main one being from transitioning from an office job into nursing, from heels and cardigans to scrubs and horrible, comfy shoes. Add to this that I have lost 50 pounds over the past three years, I got married and went from going out a lot to not, and you end up with a very confused and messy wardrobe.
I have also had a change in focus. When I was younger, I would buy whatever was cheap, especially if it was on sale. I liked having a huge closet full of stuff, even if I didn’t wear it that often or if the fit wasn’t that great. Now, although it pains me to spend the money, I would much rather have items that I love and wear all the time.
I have embraced the 30 wears idea, this being that I try not to buy any item I will not wear at least 30 times.
I am going to be writing a weekly blog on what I am doing to accomplished this, if you are interested. Stay tuned!
